The lighter study is closer to what I’m aiming for but I do like elements in both studies. Although I will try to retain the aspects I like in both studies, I try not to concern myself with doing an exact translation of the drawing.
This helps the image to have its own energy and uniqueness. Keeps things more interesting for myself too, as I have to be more focused to the unplanned and unexpected.
